Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman has been out since early November with a wrist injury. He was forced to miss important games, including the wins against Super Bowl LVIII participants Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

They are facing the LA Rams on Sunday and are keen to continue their good run. If things go well, Coleman could be back on the field. He practiced again this week after being limited last week ahead of the 49ers duel. The situation hasn't changed for the rookie, but there's still time to determine whether he'll be available for this duel.

Keon Coleman injury update ahead of Rams game

The Bills have listed Keon Coleman as a limited participant in the first two sessions of the week. On Wednesday, he was seen wearing a red non-contact jersey and on Thursday, he was given the same designation.

Coleman is one of five players listed as limited on Thursday, along with tight end Dalton Kincaid, tight end Quintin Morris, safety Taylor Rapp and wide receiver Curtis Samuel.

During Coleman's absence, Mack Hollins, Khalil Shakir, and Dawson Knox led the Bills in receiving yards. They all won those games: 30-20 against the Colts, 30-21 against the Chiefs, and 35-10 against the San Francisco 49ers. In Week 14, the Buffalo Bills will face another NFC West team, the Detroit Lions, in one of the most difficult matchups of the 2024 season.

In nine games this season, Keon Coleman caught 22 passes for 417 receiving yards and three touchdowns. In his last game, against the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 3, he caught one pass on two targets for 21 yards and no touchdowns.

Keon Coleman explains what he needs to return to the field

After finishing Thursday's practice session, Keon Coleman spoke to reporters and let them know how he was feeling. When asked about what he's waiting to make his return to the field, he said:

"If you're out there, you're 100% [healthy], so I'm just getting the closest I can get to getting out there, so whenever I can do that, I'm gonna be out there to play," Coleman said.

When asked about his feelings regarding his impending return, he said he felt anxious but was aware that he could only control his rehab and nothing else. The Bills are already strong, but adding Coleman to the mix will give him a boost ahead of the final part of the season.
