Illinois-born quarterback Kirk Daniel Cousins has been in the NFL for over a decade. He started his NFL Career with the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) where he spent six seasons. Cousins became the Redskins’ (now Commanders) starter in 2015 where he appeared in 16 games of the regular season. He led the league in passing completion rate with 69.8% with 4,166 yards completed. Cousins put up his career-high 4,917 passing yards the following year.

Cousins completed his final season with the Redskins (now Commanders) with 4,093 yards, 27 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, and a 347-of-540 completion rate. He elected to sign with the Minnesota Vikings on March 15, 2018. He finished his first season with the Vikings with 4,298 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and a career-high passing completion rate of 70.1%. After spending six seasons with the Vikings, Cousins chose to sign with the Atlanta Falcons in March 2024.
