Lamar Jackson's fitness has been in question ahead of the Baltimore Ravens' fixture against the Carolina Panthers in Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season. Over the past few days, the focus has been on the Ravens quarterback and whether he will be fit to play against the Panthers.
Jackson has been dealing with an illness that kept him sidelined for the final team practice of the week. He was then listed as questionable on Saturday. But earlier on Sunday, Baltimore confirmed that Jackson will be starting against Carolina.
The two teams have had contrasting seasons so far. The Ravens are currently leading the AFC North with six wins and three defeats. Meanwhile, the Panthers are third in the NFC South with three victories and seven losses.

Lamar Jackson stats and fantasy outlook
Lamar Jackson has been vital for the Ravens this campaign. The quarterback has thrown for 1,768 passing yards with 16 touchdowns. He also has two rushing touchdowns and six interceptions.
Jackson threw for 133 yards and one touchdown in his last outing against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. He also had 82 rushing yards while helping his team over the line against the Saints. In total, Jackson has racked up 196.22 fantasy points across nine games this season. He is averaging an impressive 21.8 points per game and has started every game for the Ravens so far.
Although Jackson's illness is not considered to be serious, fantasy football managers are a bit uncomfortable picking him for Week 11. As the Ravens superstar may still be dealing with some distress, he may not be at his best. Here are some other top quarterbacks that you could potentially stream for Week 11:
- Russell Wilson
- Matthew Stafford
- Dak Prescott
- Joe Burrow
- Daniel Jones
- Kirk Cousins
- Jimmy Garoppolo
- Justin Herbert
Realistically, Lamar Jackson is likely to be your best bet in Week 11. The above quarterbacks, apart from Dak Prescott, have had a much lower ceiling than Jackson in the 2022 season. So unless you are heavily favored for your matchup, he is a risk worth taking.
