Is Lamar Jackson playing?
Lamar Jackson

The quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens is two-time MVP Lamar Jackson. Despite the many problems that have surrounded him, Lamar has managed to flourish on the football field. He is one of just a handful of players to achieve 1,000 rushing yards in back-to-back seasons. Under Lamar's direction, the Baltimore Ravens have been in the playoffs on five of his six seasons as a starter.

On the football field, Jackson's domination was impossible to ignore. He won the Heisman Trophy in his second season at the University of Louisville. As a consequence of his overall play at the college level, the Ravens chose Lamar with the 32nd overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Lamar is one of the best players in the league at his position and signed a deal in 2023 that made him one of the highest-paid players in the league.

Did Lamar Jackson play after getting injured?

No, Lamar Jackson never returned to the field in 2022 once he was injured. Jackson initially suffered a knee injury that would have kept him out for at least 3 weeks but later went on to miss the entire NFL season, including the wild card round.

However, after signing him to a massive $260 million five-year contract, which made him the highest-paid player in the NFL at that time, Baltimore went on to reach the AFC Championship game with Lamar Jackson achieving his career best mark in passing yards, completion percentage and total attempts. Lamar went on to pass for 3,678 yards while simultaneously achieving 67.2 completion percentage. 2023 was the first time in Lamar Jackson era that Baltimore reached Championship game.
