On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes and his fellow defending Super Bowl champions welcomed Justin Herbert and the resurgent Los Angeles Chargers to Arrowhead, daring them to postpone the expected coronation by at least another week. The visitors had been enjoying the rewards of a successful rejig under Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz, having gone a strong 6-2 after their bye week.
In this pivotal intradivisional matchup, did the coronation finally happen? Or will it have to wait another week?
