The Los Angeles Chargers will face off against the New England Patriots in Week 17. The Chargers are in the playoff picture, while the New England Patriots have long been eliminated.
Ahead of their Week 17 game, let's look at the injury updates of some of the Chargers' key players.
Los Angeles Chargers Week 17 injury report
J.K. Dobbins' injury update
According to ESPN, J.K. Dobbins is questionable to play against the New England Patriots. Dobbins is dealing with an MCL sprain and leaning toward being featured in the biggest Chargers regular-season game.

Dobbins missed his team's last four games because he was on the injured reserve. The Chargers have missed his bulldozing presence and will be eager to have him back in time for the playoffs.
The Jim Harbaugh-coached Los Angeles Chargers are known to favor a rush-heavy approach, and they'll need their primary running back if they're to make some noise in the playoffs. Hence, Dobbins' availability will be something to look out for in the upcoming weeks.
Gus Edwards' injury update
According to Fantasy Pros, Gus Edwards is out of his team's crunch matchup against the New England Patriots. The veteran running back is dealing with an ankle injury.
According to ESPN, Edwards picked up the injury in his team's win over the Denver Broncos. Interestingly, it was his best game in a Chargers uniform as he amassed a stat line of 68 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He'll be absent for the foreseeable future as Jim Harbaugh's side chases a playoff run.
Hayden Hurst's injury update
According to the Los Angeles Chargers' website, Hayden Hurst is questionable for the game against the Patriots. Hurst is dealing with an undisclosed illness.
The tight end will look to overcome the illness and feature in the must-win game.
Denzel Perryman's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Denzel Perryman will not play in Week 17. The linebacker is dealing with a groin injury and hasn't been able to sufficiently recover in time for the game against the Patriots.
Perryman suffered the injury against the Denver Broncos and couldn't practice all week. He'll now be forced to watch from the sidelines.
