Louis Rees-Zammit was a professional Welsh rugby athlete, who has now jumped into the NFL and will most likely be seen playing for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024 regular season (if he makes the 53-man roster). As of early August, he is most likely to perform as a running back and kick returner for the Chiefs. He quit rugby union to train through the NFL’s program and was signed later in March 2024. Rees-Zammit played as a winger in the England Premiership and as well as for the Wales International. He began his rugby career in 2019-20 and was with the Wales U18s as well. He was called upon to the British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa Squad in 2021. Rees-Zammit won the try of the Championship award as Wales won the 2021 Championship. This was Rees-Zammit’s first major trophy in his debut tournament.

Rees-Zammit was born on February 2, 2001, in Penarth, Wales. He started rugby in his youth days while attending the Cathedral School in Llandaff. He was also a member of the Cardiff Blue squad while moving to Hartpury College at 16. Rees-Zammit played his first professional rugby season with the Gloucester senior squad in 2019. He made history by becoming Gloucestee’s youngest player and scorer.
