Malik Nabers is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants as of the 2024 NFL season. The Giants selected him with sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. Louisiana-born wide receiver Malik Nabers played college football for the LSU Tigers. Nabers participated in 11 games for LSU in 2021 as a true freshman, including six starts. He had 28 receptions for 417 yards and four touchdowns that season. Having led the FBS in receiving yards with 1,569, he was selected a unanimous All-American in 2023. Nabers declared for the NFL Draft 2024 following his final season finishing as LSU’s all-time leader in receiving yards (3,003).

Before moving to Southside High School in Youngsville, Louisiana for his final year of high school, Nabers attended Ovey Comeaux High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. Because his transfer waiver was rejected, he was unable to participate in football during his senior year. During his last high school football season, he caught 58 passes for 1,223 yards and 21 touchdowns. Despite being invited to the Combine this year, Nabers chose not to participate in the workouts.

According to the NFL's official website, Nabers had opted not to participate in the drills at the NFL combine. At LSU’s pro day in March 2024, Malik Nabers stunned scouts with an unofficial 40-yard dash time of 4.38 seconds. He also achieved a vertical leap of 42 inches, a broad jump of 10 feet 9 inches and bench-pressed 15 reps.
