Marvin Harrison Jr. is an American football wide receiver who plays for the Arizona Cardinals. The talented athlete who had entered the 2024 NFL Draft was the number one receiver to be selected from the board.

Harrison was born to parents Marvin Harrison and Latoia Titus on August 11, 2002, in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father, Marvin Harrison Sr. is a former NFL wide receiver himself who has the honors of making it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as well as earning a ring with the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI alongside the great Peyton Manning.

Even though Harrison is not the fastest receiver in the game, he has the ability to use his speed well by changing it up during his route running. With a safe pair of hands and a height of 6 ft 4 in, he is able to win aerial battles consistently. Even Though, there were some questions on whether his non-participation at the NFL Combine and Ohio State pro day would make his draft stock fall, the Cardinals put those doubts to bed by selecting him 4th overall.

Marvin Harrison Jr. College

Having been the center of attention for many top-level Universities and football programs, Harrison decided to join Ohio State University to play for the reputed Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He had multiple reasons for being a Buckeye which included his overall appeal to the college, the receiver coach, and his friendship with quarterback Kyle McCord as the main factors.

Harrison, who played three years at Ohio State received very little game time as a freshman where he started only 1 game but did feature in all 13. However, the 11 receptions he caught for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns would not do justice to what lay ahead.

The Philadelphia native would take a huge stride forward in his sophomore year as he finished with 77 catches for 1,263 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns to earn his first unanimous All-American and his first All-Big Ten selections.

In 2023, he continued his stellar performance in his junior year as well, recording 67 catches for his second consecutive 1,000 plus receiving yards and 14 touchdown season.
