Matt LaFleur is a professional American football coach serving the Green Bay Packers as their head coach in the National Football League. He was born on Nov 3, 1979, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Before his coaching career began LaFleur played wide receiver at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo for the Western Michigan Broncos football team in 1998 and 1999. He transferred to Saginaw Valley State University and played quarterback with the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals football team from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, LaFleur played in the National Indoor Football League as a backup quarterback for the Omaha Beef and in the following summer, he signed with the Billings Outlaws.

LaFleur started his career as a professional coach in the NFL in 2003 at his university as an offensive graduate assistant. In 2006, he coached quarterbacks and receivers at Northern Michigan University and in 2007, he was the offensive coordinator at Ashland University in Ohio. In 2008, he was hired by the Houston Texans as an offensive assistant where he assisted both wide receivers and quarterbacks. From 2011 to 2013, he was the quarterbacks coach for the Washington Redskins.

After coaching for six years, he returned to college football as the quarterbacks coach at the University of Notre Dame in 2014. In 2015, he joined the Atlanta Falcons as the quarterbacks coach. He was the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams coaching staff in 2017, but he left his position with the Rams and joined the Tennessee Titans in 2018. In 2019, he was hired as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers and made his regular season head coaching debut against the Chicago Bears.
