Dallas Cowboys' defensive starlet Micah Parsons was added to the injury report yesterday. He has a shoulder injury that has been bothering him and it kept him limited in practice.
The Dallas Cowboys will play the Chicago Bears in Week 8, and the status of Parsons' availability is a concern for every Cowboys fan.
Although Parsons is listed as questionable for the game against the Bears, the optimism around the camp is that he will play against the Bears. The Cowboys need him, and the injury is not that severe.

Todd Archer of ESPN provided an update on Parsons' status yesterday and wrote:
"Mike McCarthy didn't have much concern over Micah Parsons' shoulder injury that landed him on injury report. He believes Sam Williams (knee) will be able to practice Saturday and hopeful on Malik Hooker (hamstring) and Noah Brown (foot)."
The Dallas Cowboys are currently 5-2, and with Dak Prescott back with Micah Parsons expected to play, they will be heavy favorites against the Bears. Although the Bears. led by Justin Fields, tormented the New England Patriots last week, this Dallas defense is quite a bit better.
Parsons, along with Trevon Diggs, will be key to the Cowboys defense against the Bears, and another win here will help the team stay on course to making the playoffs.
Micah Parsons is a DPOY candidate this season
Micah Parsons is a prime candidate to win the Defensive Player of the Year award this season. He is off to a great start, and if Parsons is able to remain healthy, he could very well win the DPOY award this season.
This season, Parsons has 24 solo tackles, 8 assists, and 8.0 sacks in seven games this season. He leads the league in sacks, and going against a shaky Bears O-line, we can expect him to get another sack or two on Sunday.
Last week, the Cowboys marked the return of Dak Prescott, and the team cruised to a comfortable 24-6 win over the Detroit Lions. Prescott will get better as we get further into the season, and things are looking bright for America's team.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently a -10 points favorite against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, and it will be interesting to see if the Bears have the potential to cause another upset.
