Michael Irvin earned a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007 after 12 stellar seasons in the NFL. All members of the Hall of Fame get a yellow jacket, and Irvin was no different.
In a 2010 interview with the Chicago Tribune, the three-time Super Bowl winner shared an intriguing story about his jacket. He revealed that he had sex with his wife while wearing that very jacket.
"I remember when I was inducted into the Hall of Fame and they gave me my Hall of Fame yellow blazer. I wore it for two straight days. Finally, my wife was in bed and said she wanted to make love but that I had to take the coat off. I refused and kept the blazer on because I wanted to perform like a Hall of Famer on the field and off."

The former All-Pro wide receiver doubled down on the story in a June 2015 radio interview with Dan Le Batard. Irvin said he had to take the Hall of Fame jacket to the cleaners immediately after he got it as he "got some Lewinsky" on it.
"My yellow jacket, when I got it, it took me a little while to get it. I got some Lewinsky on mine 'cause I went right home and touched my baby in it. I remember she said, 'You're not coming in this bed with that jacket on'. I said, 'Baby, yes, I am'. She said, 'No, we're not'. I said, 'Yes, we are'… And yes, we did!"
Michael Irvin's Lewinsky comment was a reference to former US President Bill Clinton's affair with then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky in the 1990s.
Michael Irvin lawsuit: Is former Dallas Cowboys star still suing Marriott?
Michael Irvin sued the Marriott hotel chain after allegations that he harassed a female employee while in Phoenix to cover the 2023 Super Bowl.
According to reports, Marriott turned over the names of Irvin's accuser and others entangled in the allegations against the former NFL star. In turn, Irvin's legal team filed a notice of dismissal for the case in Texas, with the idea of refiling it in Arizona, where the supposed incident transpired.
Irvin has now reportedly decided to refile his $100 million lawsuit against the hotel chain, moving the legal matter to Arizona after getting new details in the case.
