Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said that Evans was already making progress with his injury and should be able to return to practice before Monday's game against Baltimore. This is excellent news for fantasy managers who want to pick the receiver in Week 7. Nonetheless, for precaution, fans should wait until Evans makes a return to practice and is given an active status.
Evans suffered the leg injury early in the second quarter of Tampa Bay's 51-27 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. He hurt himself during the interception return while chasing Paulson Adebo for 15 yards. Although Evans briefly exited the game and returned, he played only 44% of the snaps after halftime.
Evans is having another fabulous season with the Buccaneers. He has played in all six games so far and racked up 310 yards on 25 receptions while catching five touchdowns through the air. The five-time Pro Bowl wideout has tallied 86.0 fantasy points, averaging 14.3 points per game.
