Super Bowl XXXVII was held between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders on January 26, 2003, to establish the champion for the 2002 NFL season. During the first quarter of the game, both teams were competitive with each other. Buccaneers’ like Aaron Stecker, Brad Johnson, Joe Jurevicius, Michael Pittman, Martin Gramatica, and Dexter Jackson contributed to helping the team against its opponents. It was held between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals on February 1, 2009, to establish the 2008 NFL season champion. During the first quarter, Steelers players like Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward, and Heath Miller kept the Cardinals at bay.
Jeff Reed also scored an 18-yard goal to get a 3-0 lead against the Cardinals. In the second quarter of the game, the Steelers focused more on their defense. Finally, in the fourth quarter, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ performance overcame the Cardinals and they won the Super Bowl. The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Arizona Cardinals with a score of 27-23. Ben Roethlisberger helped to establish a Steelers record for most Super Bowl wins by a team.
