Minkah Annane Fitzpatrick Jr. is an American football safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers as of the 2024 NFL season. The Miami Dolphins selected him 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. In his rookie year with the Miami Dolphins, he started 11 games combining for 80 tackles, 51 of which were solo. After two seasons and 18 appearances, Fitzpatrick was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2019 season. He has started every game he’s played in for the Steelers since 2019. He got his career-high numbers in 2021 playing in all 16 games recording 124 combined and 84 solo tackles.

In his six seasons in the NFL, Fitzpatrick has appeared in 89 games recording 512 total and 338 solo tackles as of the 2023 season. He has also been a four-time Pro Bowl and tied for most interceptions in the league in the 2022 season. To top this all, Fitzpatrick won the Bart Starr Award in 2024. Fitzpatrick attended St. Peter’s Preparatory School in New Jersey. He was marked as a five-star recruit by ESPN being the no. 4 cornerback in the nation in 2015. He committed to the University of Alabama playing for the Crimson Tide from 2015 to 2017. Fitzpatrick was straight in action in his freshman year recording 45 total tackles. He was named the Freshman All-American in 2015. Fitzpatrick had a breakout junior season in 2017. Not only did he captain his team, but he also became the third player in NCAA history to win the Bednarik and Thorpe Award. He finished his college career with 42 appearances recording 110 solo tackles and 171 total tackles.
