The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team which is based in Minneapolis and they are one of the most famous teams in the NFL. The franchise was founded in 1960, by Max Winter, Bert Oleson, and Bill Boyer. The Vikings started playing in 1991. They played their home games at Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minnesota. In 1969, the Vikings won their first NFL Championship when they defeated the Cleveland Browns at Metropolitan Stadium. In Super Bowl IV, which was held in Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana the Minnesota Vikings played against the Kansas City Chiefs but unfortunately lost their first Super Bowl.

The Vikings played their third Super Bowl in four years inSuper Bowl XI against the Oakland Raiders which was played at Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. In 1982, they moved to Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1983, the Vikings defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the first international game in the NFL which was played in London. In 2014, they moved to Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Minnesota Vikings played in Super Bowls IV, VIII, IX, and XI but failed to win any of them.

Currently, the Viking's head coach is Kevin O’Connell who is their 10th head coach. The Vikings are playing their home games at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Minnesota Vikings have appeared in four Super Bowls but have lost in all of them. The Vikings fanbase is considered one of the best fanbases in the NFL.
