Week 6 of the 2024 fantasy football season will conclude with a Monday Night Football showdown between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. Both teams are looking to bounce back after suffering losses last week and will need their quarterbacks to play better to do so. Here's which fantasy players to target and fade from this matchup.
MNF Jets vs. Bills Fantasy Football Week 6 Start 'Em picks
Josh Allen has been one of the most dominant fantasy quarterbacks during his NFL career, finishing each of the past four seasons as either the overall QB1 or QB2. He has been a bit inconsistent this year through five weeks, recording two weekly QB1 finishes but finishing outside of the top 20 quarterbacks in his other three games.

He will look to get things rolling again in Week 6 but will square off against a tough New York Jets defense, one of the best overall units in the NFL. He still must be started in all fantasy football formats, as his upside is among the highest of any player, regardless of position.
The Jets are expected to lean heavily on their rushing attack in this matchup against the Bills, which could be a good sign for Breece Hall. He has struggled lately with finishes outside of the top 40 running backs in each of the past two weeks. He will look to get back on track like when he opened the year with three consecutive finishes of RB15 or better.
Here's a full list of the best players to target in this game:
Must Starts
- Josh Allen
- Breece Hall
- Garrett Wilson
DFS Picks
- Braelon Allen
- Dalton Kincaid

MNF Jets vs. Bills Fantasy Football Week 6 Sit 'Em picks
Aaron Rodgers has struggled during the 2024 fantasy football season. He currently ranks as just the overall QB24 and has yet to record more than two touchdowns in any of his games this year. He has also totaled four interceptions already, so he will be difficult to trust in Week 6 lineups.
He is joined by several pass-catchers on the list of players to fade from in this particular matchup. Among them are Curtis Samuel and Mike Williams, who have failed to establish a consistent role in their offenses this season.
Here is who to avoid in lineups this week:
Must Sits
- Aaron Rodgers
- Mike Williams
- Curtis Samuel
DFS Fades
- Aaron Rodgers
- Tyler Conklin
- Keon Coleman
