Mohamed Kamara initially committed to play college football at Temple, but instead signed with Colorado State due to coaching changes at Temple. The New Jersey native had an outstanding career with Colorado State Rams. Kamara pressured the opposing QBs 6 times on 192 snaps in his freshman year. Despite the shortened season next year, he recorded six pressures in just four games. His upward trajectory continued in 2021 where he accumulated 21 total pressures leading to nine sacks. He took his game to a whole other level in 2022. The defensive end pressured the opposing signal callers for a staggering 52 times in 12 games. In his final collegiate season, Kamara showcased his best performance till date. He recorded 60 pressures, including a career high 14 sacks. He capped off his last season by winning Mountain West Defensive Player Of Year (DPOY) and 2023 First-Team All-Mountain West honors.
