As per reports, Myles Garrett is listed as day-to-day with leg and right foot injuries. The Browns' defensive end is still not cleared to play against the Raiders in Week 4, and fantasy managers should wait until he gets the green light before picking him.
Nonetheless, Garrett sent a defiant message to his followers on social media on Monday, suggesting that he could make a recovery in time to face Las Vegas on Sunday.
“We can do better. We will do better,” Garrett wrote on Instagram. “On to Las Vegas.”
Garrett appeared to be struggling with an injury to his lower leg in Cleveland's 21-15 loss to the New York Giants in Week 3. He visited the medical tent twice during the game and even missed a few snaps, but returned to action to play as many reps as he could.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski also addressed Garrett's injury concerns on Monday.
“With Myles, as you guys know, he’s battling every day. So I feel that he’s going to continue to do that. He’s like a lot of our guys on this team. He’s going to battle through these injuries and I expect him to continue to get better,” Stefanski said.
Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, has posted six tackles, two sacks, five QB hits and two forced fumbles in three games this season. He has recorded 24.6 fantasy points and is averaging 8.2 fantasy points per game.
Notably, Garrett has missed only one game for the Browns since the start of the 2021 season. He was absent for the Week 4 game at the Atlanta Falcons in 2022 after being involved in a car accident earlier in the week.
