The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded an impressive 28-27 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 10. However, the team got a scare when running back Najee Harris went down with an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter.

Harris stated after the game that he rolled up his ankle and would have a better idea of the extent of the damage on Monday, even though he didn't miss more than a drive during the game.

"I got rolled up on. Got back into the game, but I’ll have further tests done tomorrow to see what it exactly is," Harris said after the game.

Although Harris isn't expected to miss any games because of the injury, the Steelers may have him miss a few practice days to give his ankle time to heal.

In the unlikely scenario that he fails to play for Pittsburgh in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, the team will have to rely on Jaylen Warren as its starting running back, with Cordarrelle Patterson as the backup.

Najee Harris injury update: What happened to the Steelers RB?

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris got rolled up on during a rush attempt with just over 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter of the game against the Washington Commanders.

The 26-year-old appeared to be holding his leg for a considerable amount of time after the play.

Harris eventually managed to jog off the field without assistance and was seen wearing his helmet on the sideline. The fact that he returned to the field for the Steelers' subsequent drive suggests that the ankle injury is not serious.

Still, it will be important to keep an eye on the Steelers' injury report throughout the week to know if the RB will suit up in Week 11.

Harris has been one of the most crucial members of the Steelers' offense this season with 592 rushing yards and two touchdowns entering the Week 10 matchup with Washington. In that game, he went on to add 53 rushing yards and a score, which helped his side win for the seventh time this season.
