Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren had been essentially a concluded question for most weeks this season. However, in true Fantasy Football fashion, the reliable has suddenly become unreliable at the biggest moment of the season.
Managers in a championship game could have their games come down to this question and with the game taking place in Week 18, there are extra factors to consider. Here's a look at both players and a recommendation.

According to Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer, Harris is in line for a big game with a projection of 14.2 points. The Steelers' running back could be in a position for this due to the likely Steelers' game plan should they need to face Joe Burrow with their starters.
It all comes down to whether the Ravens beat the Browns and lock up the division. If the Ravens lose to the Browns, the Steelers will have a shot at the division. If not, they have little reason to push for all four quarters with their starters.
In other words, there's a chance that Harris could earn zero points today. However, if he plays, he could boom as the Steelers choose to run the ball to keep Burrow off the field. Harris is a solid pick, but only if the Ravens lose.
Is Jaylen Warren a good pick in Week 18?

Jaylen Warren is in line for a good game and is projected to earn 12.4 points, per Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer. If he comes through on that level, Warren could be a solid option.
While Harris is in danger of getting rested, Warren seemingly is not. His output could vary wildly depending on how the Baltimore Ravens game goes. He seems to have a shot at having the highest floor but the lowest ceiling.
Whom should I start between Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren in Week 18?

The choice entirely depends on how the Baltimore Ravens play against the Cleveland Browns. If the Ravens win, Najee Harris is more likely to be rested against the Cincinnati Bengals for some if not all of the contest. However, if the Ravens lose, Warren becomes the most reliable option.
That said, in a vacuum, Najee Harris is the better pick this week. However, it comes down to the Ravens game. Put simply, keep an eye on the score and if you don't want to or can't, play Jaylen Warren just to be safe. Both the Ravens and Steelers play today, so pick your plan as soon as possible. Warren is the safe option while Harris is boom or bust.
