#5 - Darren Rizzi
Darren Rizzi took over for Dennis Allen as the interim head coach following the firing of Allen. While he didn't find much success in this role, the New Orleans Saints were devastated by key injuries, including to Derek Carr, Alvin Kamara, and Chris Olave. Rizzi could potentially get a shot at the full-time role with a healthy roster to work with next year.
#4 - Matt Nagy
Matt Nagy has mixed results as the head coach of the Chicago Bears before becoming the offensive coordinator for Andy Reid with the Kansas City Chiefs. He may get another crack at being a head coach at some point, considering he did make it to the playoffs with Mitchell Trubisky as his starting quarterback. They are apparently interested in him after reportedly requesting an interview.
#3 - Mike McCarthy
Mike McCarthy recently parted ways with the Dallas Cowboys and is reportedly a candidate for several current vacancies. He previously won a Super Bowl ring with the Green Bay Packers, so he has proven capable of coaching winning teams. He also has a previous connection to the Saints, formerly as their offensive coordinator, so this could play a role in them potentially hiring him.
#2 - Aaron Glenn
Aaron Glenn has experience with the Saints organization, finishing his career as a player in New Orleans in his final season. Since then, he's become the defensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions and is now a head coaching candidate during the 2025 hiring cycle. His connections to the franchise could be part of the reason why the franchise is reportedly interested in him.
#1 - Joe Brady
Joe Brady began his NFL coaching career with the Saints as an offensive assistant under head coach Sean Payton. He has had several offensive coordinator jobs since then, including with the LSU Tigers when Joe Burrow set NCAA passing records, and with the Buffalo Bills this year with Josh Allen emerging as an NFL MVP favorite.
