The Philadelphia Eagles went up against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. Philadelphia is coming off a devastating 22-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons last week, and the game against the Saints is kind of a must-win game for them.
On the other hand, the Saints have had a perfect start to their season. They are 2-0 heading into Week 3 and are full of confidence following a 44-19 win against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles were still without A.J. Brown in this game, while the Saints also ruled out Taysom Hill due to a chest issue before the game.
The Eagles had multiple opportunities to take the lead in the second quarter but Jalen Hurts failed to deliver. First, he threw an interception and on the next drive, he fumbled the ball after getting strip-sacked.

Saints vs Eagles summary
The Philadelphia Eagles defense came out to play today and was the main reason why the team won against the Saints. They limited their opponents to just six points, and although the offense didn't do them any favors in the first half, ultimately they were able to get the job done.
Turnovers from Jalen Hurts and bad decision-making from Nick Siranni cost the Eagles at least six to nine points in the first half, but the team was able to make it through in the second half.
Saquon Barkley showed up in the second half of the game, and his performance is a positive sign for the team. The star running back along with tight end Dallas Goedert kept making plays even after DeVonta Smith was ruled out due to concussion in the second half.
The Eagles' offense will get better once A.J. Brown is back, but the team will hope that Smith's injury is not serious. The game-winning touchdown drive orchestrated by Hurts, Barkley, and Goedert will give the Eagles a lot of confidence for the rest of the season.
As for the Saints, their focus now shifts to next week, where they will go against the Atlanta Falcons. Being 2-1 heading into Week 4 is certainly a decent start for New Orleans, and through three weeks they have the capability of winning the NFC South.
