The New York Giants will take on the Seattle Seahawks on the road at Lumen Field for their Week 5 contest on Sunday. The Giants, who are currently 1-3 in the season, need to figure out how to turn things around before the whole season is lost.
Let's examine the team's current health status below before the Week 5 matchup.
New York Giants injury report for Week 5
New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has been impressive for the team this season, but he won't be available in Week 5 because of a concussion he suffered in Week 4. He missed his third day of practice on Friday as he appears to still be in the mid-stages of the league’s concussion protocol.

Running back Devin Singletary is dealing with a groin ailment, but he was able to participate in a limited capacity in practice on Friday after being declared not present on Wednesday and Thursday. Singletary, who hasn't missed a game due to injuries since 2019, has been listed as doubtful on the team's last injury report, meaning it's highly likely that he won't be available in Week 5.
Three other players have injury designations for the Giants on their final injury report — CB Adoree' Jackson (calf), CB Andru Phillips (calf), and LB Matthew Adams (quad).
At some points during the week, Phillips and Jackson—who missed last week's game against the Cowboys—were both limited in practice. However, it's still unclear if both or one of the CBs will be available for Sunday's game.
Malik Nabers' injury update
Malik Nabers did not participate in practice this week because he was in concussion protocol.
It wasn't quite a surprise when the Giants officially declared Nabers out of the game against the Seahawks in Week 5. The rookie receiver's chances of playing this week were always slim because players who enter the concussion protocol after a game hardly get approval to play in the next game.
This season, Nabers has already racked up 386 receiving yards; no other player on the team has more than 200. In addition, he has recorded an astounding 35 receptions and three touchdowns.
Devin Singletary's injury update
New York Giants running back Devin Singletary is dealing with a groin problem and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at Lumen Field.
After missing the first two practice days entirely, Singletary made a limited return on Friday. But it seems like his efforts on Friday won't be enough to allow him to participate in Week 5.
