The New York Football Giants, who are one of the blue-blood franchises of the league, have won one playoff game since their Super Bowl run back in 2012. However, everything changed in 2022 when the Giants hit it out of the park by snagging Brian Daboll from Buffalo and went on to reach the divisional round.
But it was a short lived happiness for the Giants fans, as the team came back down to earth last season with a 6-11 record. This is a franchise that has consistently failed to put a competitive offensive line ahead of their QB since Eli Manning days. As if that were not enough, New York became a revolving door at QB position last season due to injuries to Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor. Even an offensive genius like Daboll could’t save the Giants season.
This is a do or die season for Daniel Jones and to make the matter worse New York Giants schedule is tied for the sixth hardest in the league. The Giants have an opt out after the 2024 season from the four-year contract Jones signed in the 2023 offseason. Anything less than a playoff appearance in 2024 would certainly be the end of the Daniel Jones era in New York.

Week 8 - October 28, 2024 - New York Giants @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The New York Giants schedule gives some soft matchups from week 8 onwards after a gauntlet of a 5-week stretch. The Steelers offense since the past couple of years have been downright awful. However, with the addition of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to the quarterback room, it remains to be seen whether the offense can match their top-tier defensive counterparts or not. This is a matchup that favors the Steelers but it would be a big boost to Big Blue if they can come out victorious from this one.
Week 10 - December 1, 2024 - New York Giants @ Carolina Panthers
Carolina had the worst record last year and it doesn’t appear to be getting better anytime soon due to lack of talent on the roster. Panthers are still in the early phase of rebuilding with a 1st-year head coach in Dave Canales and QB in his sophomore year. This is an international game that New York has no business of losing.
Week 17 - December 29, 2024 - New York Giants vs. Indianapolis Colts
If the Giants are still in the playoff hunt during this time of the year, this matchup becomes extremely important. The Colts are the only team with an inexperienced young signal caller at the helm that New York will be facing in the last six weeks. Anthony Richardson is coming into his sophomore season with only four games under his belt.
Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale who is known for his blitz-heavy approach can make Richardson uncomfortable, which gives the Giants the upper hand in this game.
