The New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals met on Sunday night looking to improve on their 2-3 and 1-4 records, respectively. With their offenses struggling to make a difference, it was imperative for Joe Burrow and Daniel Jones to prove that they could still prove their potential.

The Bengals did not take long to open the scoring, as Joe Burrow took advantage of excellent blocking to break free and rush 47 yards to the endzone.

Then around eight minutes later, it was the defense's turn to shine, as linebacker Germaine Pratt intercepted Daniel Jones off of a pressure:

No scoring plays occured in the second quarter, as the Giants sacked Burrow multiple time. But they were unable to capitalize on the opportunities, instead exchanging punts.
The second half began with the two teams exchanging turnovers and punts. But with nine minutes having passed. Tyrone Tracy Jr. tied the game with a short touchdown rush. Chase Brown would have scored a rushing touchdown within the final two minutes; but a holding penalty canceled the play, forcing the Bengals to settle for a field goal.

Greg Joseph attempted to tie the game in the fourth quarter, but his field goal attempt fell short. The Giants soon got another chance, but DJ Turner II broke up a fourth down to force a turnover.
On the ensuing drive, Micah McFadden managed to force a fumble on Chase Brown during a running play. But the ball went out of bounds before any of his teammates could recover. On the next play, Brown extended the lead with a rushing touchdown.
The Giants still had another chance to remain in the game, even drawing a pass interference call. However, Joseph sealed the game by missing another field goal.
