Pittsburgh Steelers vs New York Giants summary
The game began with a Broderick Jones face-mask penalty nullifying a potential George Pickens touchdown, forcing the Steelers to settle for a field goal. The Giants promptly answered with one of their own after a monstrous loss of yards on their own first drive.
Russell Wilson then failed to capitalize on a couple of opportunities on the endzone, forcing yet another field goal. Then multiple penalties hampered the Giants' next drive, which lasted into the second quarter and ended in yet another field goal.

To begin the second half, the Giants and Steelers exchanged punts on their opening drives. The game was blown wide open when the Steelers forced another punt, then Calvin Austin III returned it 72 yards for a touchdown.
