On the other hand, the Seahawks have been inconsistent all season long. However, they still have chances to make the playoffs in a similarly inconsistent NFC West division.
Aaron Rodgers led the Jets against a dangerous Seahawks team to move on from a 28-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, while Geno Smith tried to lead Seattle to get the seventh win of the season against his first NFL team.

New York Jets vs. Seattle Seahawks game recap
The New York Jets vs. Seattle Seahawks started with three consecutive punts from both teams. The Jets took the ball and scored the first touchdown of the game with an eight-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams. The extra point was blocked, but the Seahawks couldn't cash in on this blunder.
In their next drive, coming off a recovered fumble, the Jets extended the lead with another Aaron Rodgers pass. The veteran found Isaiah Davis with a four-yard pass. Breece Hall extended the lead with a successful run for a 2-point conversion.

The Seahawks responded with a 12-yard touchdown from Geno Smith to AJ Barner to cut the lead to 14-7 after a Jason Myers kick. The Jets clapped back in the very next play with a 99-yard kick return by Kene Nwangwu.
Seattle would also benefit from a big play from an unexpected hero. Leonard Williams picked Aaron Rodgers for a 92-yard interception touchdown. The extra point kick was blocked, but the Jets failed to convert the defensive 2-point attempt.

Jason Myers added three points with a 54-yard kick to cut the lead to 21-16.
