The New York Jets will take on the Buffalo Bills in an AFC East divisional matchup on Sunday.

Buffalo defeated New York by a slim margin in Week 6 (23–20). Both teams have experienced wildly different fortunes since then ahead of their matchup at Highmark Stadium this week.

If the Bills beat the Jets, they will guarantee the No. 2 seed in the AFC. The Jets, meanwhile, are 4-11 so far this season and are getting ready for what might be yet another tortuous offseason filled with a ton of questions.

Below, we take a look at the New York Jets' injury report ahead of the Week 17 clash.

Jets injury report for Week 17

The injury report released by the New York Jets on Wednesday was an estimate because they didn't have practice. On Thursday, however, the team had a proper practice and declared five players, including wide receiver Davante Adams (hip injury), as DNP for the day.

Additionally, offensive linemen Morgan Moses (knee), Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle), safety Tony Adams (ankle) and cornerback Sauce Garder (hamstring) did not practice.

DL Haason Reddick (neck), DL Braiden McGregor (ankle), OL John Simpson (calf), DL Quinnen Williams (hamstring) and CB Michael Carter II (back) were also classified as limited during Thursday's practice.

Davante Adams injury report

Davante Adams missed practice Thursday and was listed on the injury report with a hip ailment. During Thursday's practice, the seasoned wide receiver was also seen working off to the side with other injured players.

Adams did not practice at all on Thursday, which is not promising for his chances, but the Jets have not given any firm indication whether he will be available for the game against the Bills.

Aaron Rodgers injury update

Aaron Rodgers' Achilles rupture from last season is still bothering him. He has a knee problem currently, but he is positive and said he will play against the Buffalo Bills this week.

Rodgers is battling a knee injury he sustained during Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich informed the media on Tuesday.

Rodgers was a full participant in practice twice this week, so it appears he will play against the Bills.

Haason Reddick injury update

Defensive lineman Haason Reddick has logged two limited practice participations this week due to a neck injury. He might need to record a full practice Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.
