Three-time Super Bowl champion Devin McCourty has suggested a possible destination for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. It's Week 18, but we're still talking about Rodgers, and with good reason.
The Jets' season has been a dumpster fire. They have had four wins in all despite pulling out all the stops for Davante Adams and assembling a roster of young talent capable of challenging at both sides of the ball. However, nothing has clicked for the, this year, evident in their 4-12 record.
There's little left to play for apart from pride, and as they gear up to face the playoff-chasing Miami Dolphins, the only question is if Aaron Rodgers will return in 2025.
As things stand, that doesn't appear to be the case, which means Week 18 could be Rodgers' last game for the Jets. McCourty has no inkling of if Rodgers will hang up his cleats, but if he chooses not to ride off into the sunset, McCourty believes one team could use the four-time NFL MVP's services:

"I think there’s some teams where I don’t think it’s going to play out for them at the top of the draft to go get one of these quarterbacks. They might want to have a quarterback, like Tennessee possibly. Maybe he wants to go down, spend a year in Nashville, enjoy it, go play there," McCourty said on the Up and Adams Show on Friday.
McCourty noted that Aaron Rodgers' trajectory doesn't indicate that he will play at a higher level than he did this year. But there's still a chance that some teams might be interested in him if he chooses to suit up for another year.
"I think Tennessee is one of those teams where when you look up, where do you get your top guy from? Do you go and get into the top 3 or 4 of the draft? Where does your quarterback come from?"
Jets staring at few options to replace Aaron Rodgers
The 2025 free agent class doesn't look all that strong. As things stand, Sam Darnold and Justin Fields track to be the biggest names on that list, while there's a strong possibility that Kirk Cousins will also be cut from the Atlanta Falcons.
They could go down the QB route in the draft, given the fact that they are all but certain to have a top-10 pick. Aaron Rodgers has also made it known that he would be open to mentoring "the hell" out of a rookie if the Jets pick one and also added that he would be willing to take a paycut to return in 2025.
