Three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth roasted Aaron Rodgers' New York Jets after their brutal loss against the Buffalo Bills. Jets faced the Bills in Week 17, but they struggled and lost, 14-40.

Prior to the match, the Jets had a unique entrance, which sparked discussions from analysts. The Jets have been having a tough time this season. They have won only four matches in 2024, including a big loss against the Bills. Schlereth took a jibe at the entrance of the Jets.

"So you're telling me you're gonna walk out to 'Gangstas Paradise' from Coolio. you have won three games on the season, three games! I had a robot party for my grandson on Friday that was more gangster than the Jets," Schlereth said

Notably, it was the second consecutive loss for the Jets in their last two weeks' outing. They started the season with a loss against San Francisco before winning back-to-back games.

Soon after, they lost six consecutive matches before bouncing back with a win against Houston in Week 9, but they lost four games again. In Week 15, they won against Jacksonville but then lost two back-to-back games in the last two weeks.

Jets' Aaron Rodgers surpasses Tom Brady's record for most sacks in a season in NFL history

The last match of the New York Jets against the Buffalo Bills was embarrassing for Aaron Rodgers. During the game, he reached a total of 566 sacks for the season, which is now the most by any player in a season in the history of the game. Previously, former New England Patriots Tom Brady held the record for most sacks in a season. He had 565 sacks in a single season.

Notably, following the match, former Green Bay Packers David Bakhtiari took a jibe at Rodgers by ironically congratulating him for the record. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) account, Bakhtiari wrote:

"Hell yeah! Congrats @AaronRodgers12 another one for the record books!!!!"

Rodgers opened up about the record following his match but smiled and acknowledged he got Brady in that. He said via NewYorkJets.com:

"Yeah, I got Tom in that. I was told yesterday in the production meeting."

Rodgers also spoke about the unfortunate loss against the Bills, saying:

"This game was kind of like our season. It just got away from us. Too many games got away from us and this game got away from us. We were moving the ball well early, then we just hit a wall."

The Jets will next play against Miami in Week 18.
