Trade season is just around the corner in the NFL and one of the biggest names rumored to be on the move is Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby. Crosby is at the end of the second year of a four-year, $94 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The recruiting battle has already started with 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir claiming that the two-time All-Pro pass rusher would look nice in a 49ers uniform.
On Sunday, Deommodore Lenoir sent out a post on X to campaign for a new defensive teammate.

"Max Crosby would look crazy in a Niners Jersey 🔥"
Lenoir has played four seasons for the San Francisco 49ers after being drafted in the fifth round in 2021. He has six interceptions in 62 games with the team.
Lenoir also witnessed a pass rush that went from 48 sacks last season to just 37 this year. Nick Bosa missed three games while linebacker Dre Greenlaw missed a significant part of the season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon from last year’s Superbowl.
Judging by the comments to the post, 49ers fans were excited about the possibility.
Several commentators tagged 49ers general manager John Lynch in the comments.
Max Crosby could potentially be on the move this offseason
Crosby is the third all-time sack leader in team history, trailing only Raiders legends Greg Townsend and Howie Long. In five seasons, he amassed 59.5 sacks in 95 games with the Raiders.
However, his accomplishments have not led to team success and the team is now looking for a new head coach, Crosby's fifth in his time with the Raiders.
If he were to be traded, he would not come cheap. He is currently on a four-year, $94 million contract that still has two years remaining. However, there is no guaranteed money left on the contract and he is seeking a new one. He recently shared his thoughts on the current situation.
“I’m currently under contract, but I have no guaranteed money left. There are a lot of things that need to be discussed. Regardless, I’m in a great place, and we’re going to have those discussions real soon.”
The Raiders are also expected to demand significant compensation should they decide to trade him. He played in Oakland in 2019 before the Raiders moved to Las Vegas, so if he were to land with the 49ers, it would be a return to the Bay Area.
