“A finger-pointing, blame-defecting diva” – Skip Bayless claims Aaron Rodgers’ careless antics are holding Packers back

Skip Bayless has never been afraid to show his beliefs, whether they seem a little controversial or not. From his days on ESPN to his show The Undisputed on Fox Sports, Skip has gone off on several superstars during his television appearances.

His most recent victim is Aaron Rodgers, who defended himself after The Athletic reported that he was using outdated hand signals and that young receivers had to learn them on the fly. During his weekly appearance on Pat McAfee's show, Rodgers criticized the report.

But Bayless was having none of it and went after the quarterback.

"Since Day One of the show, I have told you that even when Aaron Rodgers is riding [the] highest, even at his highest MVP levels, he's still the all-time, finger-pointing, blame-defecting diva I've ever witnessed in football.

He further pointed out,

He's above it all, he's too cool for everybody around him, he's the smartest man in the world, and it bites him in the postseason because there's no bond between him and his teammates."

Does Skip Bayless hate Aaron Rodgers?

As much as the question sounds absurd, there's reason to believe that Skip has at least some bias against the Packers quarterback.

Bayless uses every single available opportunity to go off on the quarterback. Rodgers has more interesting things to worry about, of course, but it's funny to see Skip's attempts to grab attention by criticizing the player.

A clear example happened in October when he went on a tirade out of nowhere after Rodgers talked about the Packers' slow start to the season during the same weekly McAfee show. On one occasion, Bayless called Rodgers a media manipulator and said that he wouldn't be fooled by his public persona. A month later, Bayless called Rodgers 'washed' following another Green Bay loss.

An NFL fan even created a video of Skip contradicting himself on his opinions about Rodgers.

As far as Rodgers is concerned, the Packers' season is something more interesting to care about. The team currently sits at 6-8 with an outside chance of making the postseason following a poor start after trading Davante Adams. Paying no attention to outside distractions can only benefit the quarterback.
