Former NFL cornerback Domonique Foxworth questioned how much Aaron Rodgers truly meant to the Packers' Super Bowl XLV victory. Rodgers, who was the starting quarterback, led the Packers to a 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl in 2011.
Rodgers threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns on 24-for-39 passing. However, Foxworth argued that Mike McCarthy should get credit for keeping that locker room together during the season, despite Rodgers being the quarterback.
"I would argue what we have seen from Aaron Rodgers recently, that's a damn success," Foxworth said. "Congratulations, Mike McCarthy. You managed to get a Super Bowl out of Aaron Rodgers while having Aaron Rodgers in the locker room. That seems like some incredible interpersonal management. He manged to keep that locker room together. Mike McCarthy's got some magic that we don't know about."

Foxworth seems to be taking a subtle jab at Rodgers, especially given how the New York Jets have been performing this season. While Foxworth downplayed Rodgers' impact, it is widely acknowledged that the quarterback played a key role in Packers' 2011 Super Bowl victory.
Foxworth played in the NFL from 2005 until 2011, when he played for the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens.
Aaron Rodgers says his playing future is undetermined
Aaron Rodgers isn't sure if he will continue playing after the 2024 NFL season.
Rodgers went on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Tuesday and said he isn't sure if he will continue playing after this season.
"I feel like I've been kind of year to year," Rodgers said on Tuesday, via NFL.com. "When you're 40 going on 41, you're at the end of your career. There's a lot of things, obviously, if it's New York they have to want me to be here. The new GM, the new staff all have to want me to be with the Jets. Body-wise, I have to see how I'm feeling, and if I want to sign up to go back to the grind and all that.
"It feels good. I'm healthy now. … If I can stay healthy the rest of the year and play the way I want to play and everybody feels good about bringing me back, then there's a decision there. And if not, then there's all the other options. I think at this point I'm open to everything and attached to nothing. It's a good place to be."
Rodgers has struggled this season as he's gone 241-for-380 for 2,442 yards, 17 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. The Jets are 3-8 and will return to the field on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
