The Green Bay Packers are currently facing the Miami Dolphins in the first of three Christmas Day games and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has shone out.
The quarterback has the new record for most passing touchdowns on Christmas Day with eight, while having the most starts as well with three after today's game.
In 2011, Rodgers and the Packers faced the Chicago Bears and he threw five touchdown passes in that game. This was the most in a single game on Christmas Day.

Rodgers added to his total touchdown passes as he hit tight end Marcedes Lewis for a touchdown in the first quarter vs. Miami.
The Packers are fighting to stay alive for a wildcard spot in the playoffs. They entered today's game with a record of six wins and eight losses. A win would put them at 7-8 and would keep them alive for a slim chance at the postseason.
Miami is 8-6 and is also fighting for a playoff spot in the AFC wildcard.

Rodgers has the most passing touchdowns in Packers franchise history and is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
He is also a Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, four-time MVP, four-time First-Team All-Pro, and 10-time Pro Bowler.
Rodgers is currently battling with the Dolphins and if he wins out, the Packers have a shot at being in the playoffs.
