Aaron Rodgers is still seen as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He has been feared by most NFL teams throughout his incredible 18-year career. However, that fear seems to be fading away. According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, teams no longer fear the Green Bay Packers quarterback as they once did in years past. He recently Tweeted the following:
"Aaron Rodgers and the #Packers offense are struggling, to the point defenses are daring them to throw downfield. One way they’ll try to get back on track today against the #Jets: Commit to feeding Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon."
The four-time NFL MVP and Packers offense is currently in the middle of the pack for points per game. They have been averaging around 19 points a game thus far. Out of their three wins, two were by three points or less, including the Week 4 victory over the New England Patriots (27 - 24 in overtime). In Week 6, Green Bay host the New York Jets at Lambeau Field as they look to get their offense going. Rodgers has an impressive stat line in games versus the Jets under center.

Aaron Rodgers' numbers against the Jets
In three games against the Jets, Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 958 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions. In Green Bay's last game against New York back in 2018, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback threw for 442 yards passing and for two touchdowns. The Packers won that game by a 44 - 38 score at MetLife Stadium.
The 38-year-old signal-caller is currently seeking to throw the ball a bit further down the field. So far, in 2022, he has thrown 19 passes of 20 yards or more, which is tied for fourth in the league. He has just seven passes of more than 30 yards, which might be why teams don't fear the long ball from the four-time All-Pro.
We will see if the 10-time Pro Bowler can sling it down Lambeau Field against the Jets as the Packers seek their fourth win of the year. With the NFC North on the line this campaign, Green Bay will have to win this kind of matchup if they are to retain the division.
