Aaron Rodgers makes surprise announcement on dating life, reveals identity of his new girlfriend

Aaron Rodgers was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley for almost a year until February 2022, when it was confirmed that they had ended it. Many were surprised to learn that the four-time NFL MVP was engaged, given he did not announce it on social media. Instead, Rodgers disclosed the news while accepting an award.

After his breakup with Woodley, Rodgers sparked dating rumors with Mallory Edens, the daughter of Wes Edens, the billionaire owner of the Milwaukee Bucks. However, neither party confirmed the relationship, and the rumor soon died out.

However, Aaron Rodgers confirmed that he is dating someone during his appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show" on Monday. He dropped the news while discussing shopping for Christmas gifts.

"I actually order all mine online. So I was a little bit worried, because there was one package left for my girlfriend, Brittani, that hadn't showed up yet. So I was waiting on this to show up. It showed up today. So everything is great," Rodgers told McAfee.

AJ Hawk ventured to ask if the Brittani he was dating was the famous pop star, Britney Spears. However, Rodgers said it wasn't the pop star, but Brittani with an "I" in her name. The Jets QB did not drop any further details about his girlfriend except that she was not a fan or a regular social media user.

"We just learned, Aaron is in love," McAfee joked.

"It's a good feeling, boys," Rodgers responded.

In an interview with "Bustle", Rodgers' former partner, Shailene Woodley, said that after their split, she was left with a broken heart that had "healed and broke again".

“I fell in love over and over with unavailability. I’m very open as a human. I love easy and I care easy, but I do not love lightly, and I do not care lightly,” she said while speaking about her relationships in general.

After the breakup, the New York Jets quarterback wrote a heartfelt note to Woodley.

“Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful for you.”
