Aaron Rodgers is one of the NFL's most polarizing players. He's rooted equally in his play on the football field and his comments off of them. Prior to the Green Bay Packers' game against the New York Jets on Sunday, the four-time league MVP debuted a new look. However, one former United States Senator wasn't a fan of the quarterback's appearance.
Claire McCaskill, a former Democratic Senator from the state of Missouri, took a dig at Rodgers' haircut and said he would drop the Packers quarterback from his fantasy football team.
"I’ve decided that anyone that purposefully gets a haircut like that has bad judgment. And he and the Packers are really struggling. Time to drop my fantasy QB in my family league, namely the micro-dosing Aaron Rodgers."

To McCaskill's point about fantasy football, the four-time All-Pro has been struggling lately. The Packers star went 26-of-41 for 246 yards passing with a touchdown as the New York defense sacked him four times on Sunday. He also fumbled twice, losing one to the defense.
Aaron Rodgers and Packers offense struggles once again in loss to Jets
Green Bay have lost two successive games and Rodgers has played well below MVP level. He's thrown for 1,403 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions so far this season. For perspective, he threw just four interceptions in all of last season.
He's currently averaging 233.8 yards a game, which is the lowest he's thrown in a season since becoming Green Bay's starter in 2008. The Packers have a 3-3 record and sit two games behind the 5-1 Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.
If the offense doesn't turn things around soon, the Packers could find themselves struggling to make the playoffs this season.
