Aaron Rodgers takes wrecking ball to "f**king sham" of electoral policies in Joe Biden vs Donald Trump vs RFK Jr. debate

Aaron Rodgers never shies away from sharing his political views on the biggest of stages. As the 2024 presidential elections draw closer, Rodgers hits at the prevalent election practices within the country.

The New York Jets quarterback threw his weight behind the independent candidate running for the top office, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., months in advance. However, with the paradigm shift at the electoral level, A-Rod calls out the presumed candidates from both parties.

“We have a guy who’s been – whether rightly or wrongly at kangaroo court or whatever – been indicted on felonies, and a guy who shit in his pants. And then we have Bobby, they don’t give him a chance to be in debates," A-Rod said on ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast.

“If you knew the insights about how ridiculous it is for a third-party candidate to get on ballots in 50 states, it’s a f**king sham.”

RFK Jr. couldn't qualify for the first presidential debate, which was held on June 27. However, RFK Jr. appeared on a separate stream at a different location, answering questions the moderators asked Biden and Trump.

The second presidential debate will be held on September 10 as Kamala Harris faces off against Donald Trump. President Joe Biden has withdrawn his presidential candidature for the upcoming elections. It is unclear whether RFK Jr. will be able to qualify for that debate as of now.

Aaron Rodgers calls out the two-party system

Apart from discussing the candidates and the systems by which they qualify, A-Rod expressed his displeasure at the entire political system. On the podcast, Aaron Rodgers rallied against mainstream politics.

“The fact that nothing really ever changes”, said Rodgers. “All they do is just talk about what they're going to do and then nothing life doesn't actually get better for any of us whether it's a Republican or Democrat. And we're still just doing the same f**king two-party system and not letting Bobby get in or anybody else.”

Many NFL players showed their support for Donald Trump after the assassination attempt on him during the rally. Rodgers did not discuss the event in the podcast since the recording of the podcast occurred prior and it was released on Monday.
