Aaron Rodgers capped off his dismal 2024 season with a sensational performance in the New York Jets's 32-20 win over the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium. The four-time MVP completed 23 of his 36 pass attempts for 274 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. His first touchdown pass, a short five-yard toss to Tyler Conklin, was the 500th of his career. He became only the fifth player to achieve that feat.

As positive as the performance and the result were, it likely was Rodgers's last game as a Jet. The quarterback is expected to leave the franchise in the offseason, and there are no guarantees that he will return to play in 2025. If he does decide to continue playing, a handful of quarterback-needy teams might consider signing the four-time MVP.

Rodgers has previously stated that he's only keen on playing for a team that could compete for the Super Bowl and suggested he'll prefer retiring over playing for a team on the road to rebuilding itself. However, analyst David Hookstead believes he didn't mean it and has already hinted where he'll play in 2025.

"So I believe Aaron Rodgers continues to play in the NFL, and I wouldn't be surprised [if he joins the Titans]," Hookstead said. "He owns property, he owns a house in Nashville. He was recently on the Pat McAfee Show, and I did an article about this, where he was praising out of nowhere."
"And, you know, Rodgers, he doesn't say anything of he knows how to push buttons, but he also super calculated. He's always been super calculated, witty, etc."

Hookstead noted that Rodgers has been singing praises of Nashville, the home of the Tennessee Titans, and suggested that it was his come-and-get-me plea to the franchise. He added:

"He started out of nowhere on McAfee show about two weeks ago, praising Nashville, and how much he loves Nashville," Hookstead added. "He's like shout out to the whole city of Nashville, by the way. And was talking about his favorite restaurants. Now this was out of nowhere. And talk about love having no income tax."

Aaron Rodgers to Tennessee? QB loves the state

Aaron Rodgers expressed his love for the state of Tennessee during a discussion about the college football playoffs on the "Pat McAfee Show" in December 2024.

"Shoutout to the great state of Tennessee," Rodgers said. "Phenomenal state. Great people out there. Great people. No state income tax. A lot of great country music down there. Great barbecue (in) Memphis."

As much as he enjoys spending his time in Nashville, the Titans do not fit into his vision of wanting to play for a contender. On the contrary, Tennessee is on the opposite end of that spectrum, as it holds the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

It's unlikely that Aaron Rodgers would consider joining the Titans. However, if no Super Bowl-caliber team is interested in signing the 2010 Super Bowl champion, he could join the franchise and lead their revival.
