Offensive tackle Taylor Lewan has created some chatter on social media since his season with the Tennessee Titans ended. First, he caused quite a stir on social media by claiming that he was the secret love interest of Jeffree Star when the two made an appearance during Super Bowl weekend.
Last week, he started another social media conversation after being formally released by the Tennessee Titans. The photo he posted to Twitter showed bags of his belongings that were dropped off by the Titans.
Many NFL fans were appalled that the team would load his belongings into trash bags and drop them at his doorstep.
Now it appears that Lewan is ready to think about what is next in his NFL journey. The veteran offensive tackle is recovering from an ACL injury that he suffered during the 2022 NFL season. According to a recent tweet, he is focusing his attention on one of the most successful NFL teams over the past few seasons.

On Wednesday morning, Taylor Lewan tagged the Kansas City Chiefs and accompanied that with the 'eyes' emoji. It was as if he was considering signing with the team.
This comes after he recently said on his Bussin' with the Boys podcast that he would consider retirement if he didn't feel healthy enough to take the field and play at a high level.
Adding a veteran offensive tackle to the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line makes sense for the team who is always looking to add protection for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Would the Chiefs sign OT Taylor Lewan?
Taylor Lewan was drafted by the Tennessee Titans and played nine seasons for them. While he expected to play for the Titans his entire career, a recent bout of ACL injuries led to the team deciding to release him after the 2022 NFL season.
From 2020 through to the 2022 NFL season, he played in just 20 games, with 13 of those coming in 2021. Although he played over 840 snaps in 2021, his recurring knee injury may be a worry for a team who is considering signing him.
A short-term deal for even one season may be the best for a team and the offensive tackle. One season could determine whether he can continue playing and wouldn't be a big commitment for a team to sign him with so many questions lingering.
