After their hard-fought win in Sao Paulo over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons in their home opener on Monday Night Football. The nine-day break between games is rare for a team and will give the Eagles' players enough time to recuperate from last week's trip to Brazil.
However, it may not be enough for wide receiver AJ Brown, whose participation is doubtful for the clash. He was a limited participant in practice on Friday and missed the open portion on Saturday.
During his media availability, head coach Nick Sirianni was asked about Brown's sudden disappearance from practice. He said:
"Just got a little tight in practice yesterday. We'll see how that goes."

The wide receiver's status for the game on Monday night against the Falcons has been downgraded to questionable.
Will AJ Brown play against the Falcons in Week 2?
Brown's sudden disappearance from practice on Saturday is a worrying sign for the Eagles. Even if he's cleared to play, he'll likely play a limited role. Philadelphia hopes he'll clear the medical test on Monday and get the green light to play against Atlanta.
Brown's absence or limited participation could be a massive blow to the Eagles. He was exceptional in the Week 1 win over the Packers, hauling in five catches for 119 yards and one touchdown.
If the 27-year-old isn't cleared to play, DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson will have to step up and fill the void. The latter finished with no catches in his Eagles debut in Sao Paulo. However, Sirianni defended his disappointing outing, saying:
"That guy gets unfairly judged because he doesn't have the opportunities that other people get. I feel really good about Jahan. I mean, first-round pick, obviously, we traded for him and feel really good about him.
He's a smooth route runner, everything like that. I just think sometimes that position (WR3) is unfairly judged at times just because they don't get the opportunities these other guys are gonna get."
The former Washington Commanders receiver will get the opportunity to make amends for his horrendous debut, considering Brown will either be limited or absent on Monday night against the Falcons.
Update on AJ Brown's status:
Per reports, Brown will be out for MNF vs the Falcons.
