Cleveland Browns wideout Amari Cooper was reportedly pulled into a potential trade involving San Francisco receiver Brandon Aiyuk on Friday. Per reports, the Browns put a deal on the table for Aiyuk and were prepared to exchange Cooper, plus draft picks in the second and fifth rounds to San Francisco.
When Cooper, who is entering the final year of his Browns contract in 2024, caught a whiff of the trade rumors involving himself, he responded via Instagram.
“Lol I wouldn’t mind at all,” Cooper wrote on his IG story.

Cleveland fans quickly noticed Cooper's cryptic Instagram story and reacted to the potentially damaging situation on X.
"Amari Cooper is pis**d and I don't blame him. This front office just can't stop meddling with team chemistry in their non-stop goal to assemble the perfect Madden roster on paper," one tweeted.
"Can anything good happen in the city of Cleveland for 2 secs?" another tweeted.
"LMFAO Cleveland tried to drive the price for Pitt up and caused their WR1 to get upset," tweeted a third.
Some fans also pointed out that Cooper would be better off leaving Cleveland if he wanted to win a Super Bowl.
"Bro wants a chance at a ring I don’t blame him," tweeted one.
Another fan suggested that Cooper's response wasn't surprising since the player was looking for a long-term contract with the Browns, but the team didn't follow through.
"Is this surprising? He obviously wanted a long term deal and the team wasn't willing to give it to him," tweeted a user.
Amari Cooper to remain with Cleveland Browns amid recent IG controversy?
On Saturday, reports claimed that Aiyuk quashed his potential trade to the Browns since the 49ers star had no intention of playing in Cleveland. This means that Amari Cooper might end up staying in Cleveland for the 2024 season.
Nonetheless, Cooper's recent Instagram story, hinting that he wants out of Cleveland, might draw interest from a few NFL teams. The wideout posted 1,250 yards on 72 receptions and caught five touchdowns for the Browns last season, earning the fifth Pro Bowl honor of his career.
