Amon-Ra St. Brown comes from a lineage of athletes. His brother, Equanimeous St. Brown, is also an NFL wide receiver who currently plays for the New Orleans Saints, while his other brother, Osiris St. Brown, played college football at Stanford but couldn't make it to the NFL.
Their father also has experience as an athlete, although his sport was different. John Brown was an amateur bodybuilder who won the Mr. Universe two times, and he made a special appearance at their son's podcast. When asked about which NFL players could have made it into bodybuilding, John Brown had two answers in mind:
"Haven't seen them with their shirts off. I would say Saquon Barkley looks like it. I mean, it's hard to tell. In my opinion - you're not going to believe this, but a guy like J’Mon [Moore], as skinny as he is, that dude has a lot of potential. Because he's all muscle. He's not a lot of fat. So all you got to do is put muscle on that guy." [From 13:24 to 13:48]

Saquon Barkley changed teams during the offseason and moved from the New York Giants to the rival Philadelphia Eagles, while J'Mon Moore is a current free agent - he played with Equanimeous when they were both with the Green Bay Packers early in their careers.
How many receivers are earning more than Amon-Ra St. Brown?
In terms of average per year, the new contract signed by the Lions star is $30.002 million. It's important to put three digits because it puts him just a bit above Tyreek Hill, who's earning $30 million.
Only two other players are above him. Justin Jefferson, from the Minnesota Vikings and who also signed a recent extension, earns $35 million per year; A. J. Brown, from the Philadelphia Eagles, gets him $32 million.
The receiver market was reset during this offseason, and there are still a few deals to go - notably Tee Higgins after the franchise tag and CeeDee Lamb when he resolves his problems with the Dallas Cowboys. It's likely that St. Brown will be surpassed, but he certainly deserves to be paid like an elite receiver.
