Tom Brady is well known for throwing temper tantrums and electronics if games do not go according to plan. Many have lamented his outbursts, while others have found it funny. The quarterback finds it effective. Speaking on the Let's Go! Podcast, the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers explained why he gets angry on the Gridiron. Here's how he put it:

"I think there's one emotion that I have to try to find, and that's anger. Naturally, I would say I'm pretty mellow off the field. But anger is the one emotion that works for me."

He continued, explaining that good moods lead to bad results:

"There's anger for different reasons, for frustration or disappointment, but anger in the moment, like if you see me in a good mood in the game, it's a bad moment... You want to go crazy, you know? And I think the more you can envision that, the better."

At 6-7, the quarterback has lost more games than he would like. However, he's lost one fewer game than the rest of his division. As a result, he is still in the driver's seat and doesn't need help to make the postseason unlike every other current playoff team in the NFL.

Trailing the Buccaneers are the Panthers and quarterback-troubled Falcons at 5-8 and the Saints sit two games behind at 4-9. All four teams are still in the hunt. If the Buccaneers go on a losing streak to end the season, any other team could take over first place.

Brady still has games against the Panthers and Falcons before the season ends, giving him plenty of chances to lose the division in the final moments.

For an extra boost, the quarterback will hope to defeat Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals this week. Then he goes up against Colt McCoy and the Arizona Cardinals. If he's not more than a game ahead of the Panthers or Falcons by this point, it could be a win-and-in situation.

Will Tom Brady establish himself over the next two weeks, or will he be forced to play one or two de facto playoff games before the postseason?
