Anthony Richardson is the Indianapolis Colts' starting QB ... again. The Colts have switched between him and the veteran, 39-year-old Joe Flacco. But now, it seems they're planning to stick with Richardson for the entirety of the 2024 season.

And no one seemed happier about this than his fiancée Jada. She took to Instagram to share a post by the official Colts handle, featuring a picture of Richardson with the ball. There was a caption stating that coach Steichen had announced that the 22-year-old would be the team's starting QB for the remainder of the season.

Jada captioned the post:

"What a Mighty God we serve...!"

She was grateful to the Almighty for letting her fiancée get the starting role again, after he was benched following the Houston Texans game. In that contest, he tapped out of the game because he was "tired."

The 39-year-old had given Colts fans hope during some of the initial games of the season. But in the last two games, his production had slumped, with him just recording a combined 451 passing yards and competing 67.7% of his passes.

However, what the team did not expect at all was him throwing four interceptions over his last two games.

Apparently, that was enough for the team to pull the plug on Flacco and decide on Anthony Richardson as their starter.

Josh Allen had tips for Anthony Richardson's return

While Richardson was still on the bench, Josh Allen offered advice to the fallen QB and said that being benched was not so bad. He believes that it would allow him to learn from serving as a backup to Joe Flacco.

Speaking on "The Pat McAfee Show," he cited his own example of when he had to sit behind Derek Anderson in his rookie year.

"Got to learn a lot from him, the way that he handled the little things, just how to handle walkthroughs, how to handle meetings, how to talk to certain guys in the building, and then when he went out and practiced, he practiced hard, and he demanded a lot from the receivers and tight ends."

Allen added that Anthony Richardson could learn a lot from Flacco which would better prepare him for his eventual return as a starter.

Can Richardson turn around the season for the Colts as they prepare to take on the New York Jets on Sunday? Or will he make the team rethink its decision to bench Joe Flacco in his favor?
