In Oklahoma, where he played collegiate football, the national media touted Anton Harrison as an All-American in 2022. He consistently filled the left tackle position for the Sooners and has the size football fans enjoy seeing at left tackle in the NFL. He has established himself as one of the Big 12's top tacklers.

Several NFL draft analysts have projected Harrison to go in the first round, which would probably make him the first pick out of Oklahoma in the 2023 draft. In the current draft rankings, he's behind Peter Skoronski as the second-best pass protector. Anton Harrison played in 12 games as a junior in 2022, taking part in 862 snaps. He played most of his snaps at left tackle and only allowed eight quarterback hurries, zero quarterback hits and one sack.

At the point of attack, Harrison possesses the inherent strength to move opposing defenders. Additionally, he's quick and agile enough to move forward and land blocks on the second level. When ascending to the second level, he demonstrates an excellent awareness of angles.

He will be in high demand on NFL Draft day. His abilities could transcend effectively to the next tier, where he will almost certainly start at left tackle in his first season in pro football, as he possesses first-round abilities.


Which teams have been tipped to pick Anton Harrison?

The Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots are the two NFL teams that are most likely to select Harrison in the draft.

There are several potential ways the Los Angeles Chargers could go with their first-round selection. Oklahoma's Anton Harrison could be a good lead-up possibility to play with Rashawn Slater.

Harrison would improve the offensive possibilities for the Chargers. Justin Herbert would greatly benefit from having a consistent performance from the right tackle position, and Harrison might enhance the running strategy.

Last season, the Patriots' offensive line suffered several terrible blows. Harrison is a powerful tackle with good technique who would reinforce either side of the offensive line.
