The 34-year-old simply can't stay out of the limelight since being forced out of the NFL. We all know about the infamous incident last season when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced the New York Jets. The receiver took off his equipment, threw it on the sideline bench and then jogged down the tunnel and out of the league. All the while, the game was still going.
We haven't seen him since.
Tumanov claims that Brown slapped him after they got into an argument over the payment for a delivery Tumanov made to the receiver's house back in February of 2020.
Antonio Brown's off-field issues still haunt him after football career
Unfortunately, as one of the best receivers of his generation, he will likely not be remembered for the same. The last few seasons of his NFL career have been tarnished by several incidents.
There was the fake vaccine card fiasco, his infamous walkout during the Jets game, and his inappropriate public behavior in Dubai. And lately, the receiver has been taunting Tom Brady over the latter's rumored divorce from Gisele Bundchen.
The Buccaneers quarterback was the player who gave the receiver two lifelines (one in New England and one in Tampa Bay) when no other team would go near him.
That didn't matter to the receiver.
It was a spectacular fall from grace for the 34-year-old. At one point in time, he was regarded by many as the best receiver in the NFL. He had six consecutive seasons of over 1,200 receiving yards in Pittsburgh, but his off-field issues and locker room problems plagued him.
He should be remembered as one of the best. Unfortunately, many will only see him for the off-field incidents and not the great receiver that he was.
