Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce's wife, Jocelyn Pierce, has filed for bankruptcy. Jason Morrin reported the news, revealing that the Raiders head coach had invested in car dealerships that had defaulted on their loans.

The lenders are now seeking judgments worth more than $28 million from Pierce's marital assets. His wife filed for bankruptcy earlier this month in Phoenix, Arizona. Morrin revealed the details of the bankruptcy in a post on X. He said:

"Mrs. Pierce filed for bankruptcy on 6/12/24 but claims she did not sign any personal guaranty on the loans." He added, "Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (holding a $23M judgment) and Hyundai Capital America ($4.5M judgment), recently attempted to garnish Mr. Pierce’s wages."

Pierce had signed some documents when he made investments in the car dealerships. The lenders have secured judgments against various businesses operated by Pierce's wife, and since the Raiders head coach was a guarantor, he now faces the responsibility of managing the entire situation.

This is a developing story, and once more details surrounding Jocelyn Pierce's bankruptcy are revealed, they will be updated here.

After the Raiders fired Josh McDaniels last season, they appointed Antonio Pierce as their interim head coach. He went 5-4 to finish the season and was later made the permanent head coach of the franchise.

Pierce had the utmost support from players like Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams, and everyone around the franchise is excited for the upcoming season. The Raiders finished last season with a record of 8-9 and will hope to improve on that in Pierce's first full season as their head coach.

The franchise recently drafted some quality players like Brock Bowers, Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Decamerion Richardson. Although there are some questions about their quarterback situation with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell, the players fully believe in their head coach.

Making the playoffs in the AFC is really tough, but if the Raiders play the way they did to finish last season, they will be a tough team to beat for anyone this year.
