On Sunday, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets traveled to State Farm Stadium to take on the Arizona Cardinals in a critical game for both teams.
The Jets bounced back from their shocking 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8 with a 21-13 victory over the Houston Texans four days later on Thursday Night Football, which ended their streak of five games without a win.
A loss against the Texans would have seen them drop to 2-7 and dealt a massive blow to their odds of earning a playoff berth. However, their season was still on thin ice and the loss against Arizona has given the Jets a 3-7 record.
The Cardinals came into this game on the back of three straight wins that catapulted them to the top of the NFC West standings. They started the game 5-4 and knew they had to win to hold on to the top stop in the division table after the San Francisco 49ers' narrow 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the early window saw them improve to 5-4.

A defeat would have relegated them to second in the standings, and potentially third if the Los Angeles Rams beat the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. There was plenty at stake for both teams, which made for an exciting contest that the Cardinals solved nicely for them:
